Spider-Man: Brand New Day swings into action in its first official trailer
The fourth MCU Spider-Man film dives into the consequences of his past decisions.

Following Tom Holland’s promse from yesterday, today we get our first look at ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day,’ the fourth film featuring our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man in the MCU. After a series of very brief glimpses on social media, we finally have the first official, full-length teaser trailer—which makes much more sense—for this new adventure of the web-slinger, and you can watch it below:
A brand new adventure for Spider-Man
Four years after the events of *Spider-Man: No Way Home* and having been forgotten by the world, Peter Parker is still dealing with the aftermath of his decisions.
The film is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton (Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings) based on a screenplay by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers, screenwriters of Spider-Man’s previous cinematic adventures.
The new trailer has a completely different tone from the first films. We see a Peter Parker who is still struggling with the consequences of his past, as well as with what appears to be a mutation—as if it were a normal part of a spider’s life cycle. Along with this, we also see the return of some old familiar faces from the MCU, such as MJ (Zendaya) and Ned (Jacob Batalon), as well as The Punisher (Jon Bernthal), Bruce Banner aka The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo), and some ninjas from The Hand. Just a casual, normal day for our Friendly neighbor.
In addition to the intense action scenes, there’s a moment that pays an incredible tribute to some of the iconic covers of our favorite arachnid’s comic books.
