Spider-Noir first trailer reveals release date for Amazon’s noir series
Nicolas Cage headlines the noir-inspired Spider-Man.

Finally, we have our first glimpse of Spider-Noir, the live-action series from Amazon that will bring us this unique version of Spider-Man. Not only can we see Nicolas Cage reprise his role as Ben Reilly/Spider-Noir in a very special trailer, but you can also choose to watch it in black and white or in color.
With no power comes no responsibility
The trailer (you can watch the True-Hue Full Color version here) introduces us to Ben Reiley, a private investigator who becomes a crime-fighting vigilante in an alternate 1930s New York City. This spin-off of the Spider-Verse presents us with a black-and-white world that places the character of Spider-Man in the world of Film Noir. The friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is definitely nowhere to be found, and Nicolas Cage’s always unique performance with these types of characters is well worth watching. For now, there aren’t many details about the story, but the trailer also allows us to see some of the other actors who will be in the series.

Apart from Cage, the other confirmed main cast members are Lamome Morris as Robbie Robertson, Brendan Gleeson as Silvermane, Li Jun Li as Cat Hardy, Abraham Popoola as a World War I veteran, Jack Huston as Flint Marko, Karen Rodriguez as Janet, and Lukas Haas as one of Silvermane’s henchmen. ‘Spider-Noir’ will have eight episodes and was filmed between August 2024 and March 2025. Its showrunners areOren Uziel and Steve Lightfoot(Hannibal).
