The first official image of Nicolas Cage as Spider-Noir has been released
Cage stars in the live-action adaptation, revealing his look.

Prime Video has surprised us with the first official image of Spider-Noir, the live-action TV series starring Nicolas Cage that will show us a different version of our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man. It’s been a few months since the first images from the set were released, and this is the first official look.
Nicolas Cage dons the Spider-Noir fedora
This image shows us what the actor will look like in the series. Here, we see Cage in the classic Spider-Man pose with his hand ready to shoot his web. Details like the goggles, trench coat, fedora, and gloves match the comic book look. Without further ado, here is the image:

If you saw the 2018 film Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, you’ll recall that this version of the arachnid superhero is a private investigator in 1930s New York, and the actor voiced him.
There are few official details about the series for now, although it’s notable that Ben Reilly, not Peter Parker, will be behind the mask of the arachnid in this series. There is also a brief synopsis describing the character as an “aging and down on his luck private investigator in 1930s New York who is forced to grapple with his past life as the city’s one and only superhero.”
A few months ago, Prime Video began shooting Spider-Noir, starring Nicolas Cage as Peter Parker and Brendan Gleeson as the villain, a mob boss. The cast also includes Lamorne Morris as Robbie Robertson, Abraham Popoola as a World War I veteran, Jack Huston as a bodyguard, and Li Jun Li as a singer at a premier New York nightclub. Lukas Haas plays a subordinate of Gleeson’s character.
Filming is expected to wrap up later this year, with a television premiere planned for late 2025 or early 2026. Will this series erase the bad taste left by films like Kraven the Hunter, Madame Web, and Morbius?
