Anya and the Forger family return to Crunchyroll with Spy x Family Season 2, hoping to be one of the anime of the season once again.

October is here, a new season is about to start and anime fans are paying attention because it will be the return of one of the most popular anime in 2022, and one of the most anticipated: Spy x Family. Anya and the rest of the Forger family will return this week with the second season, the number of episodes of which has not yet been announced, so we can only hope that it will be the 25 that we had with the first season.

Spy x Family Season 2 Episode 1: Date, premiere time and how to watch it

Spy x Family returns on October 7, 2023, with the premiere of Season 2, which, hoping to keep the same schedule as Season 1, will arrive the following Sunday (October 8) on Crunchyroll, the platform that serves as Netflix in the world of animation. And if the schedule of the previous season is maintained, we will have it available subtitled from the same day at:

  • 11:30 a.m. ET
  • 10:30 a.m. CT
  • 8:30 a.m. PT

There are still some details to know about this season, along with the general plot of this particular anime, the number of episodes and its distribution are still up in the air. Let’s remember that the first season of Spy x Family was released in two parts, the first in April 2022 with 12 episodes, and later returned in October 2022 with 13 episodes.

More Spy X family on the horizon

During AnimeJapan 2023, the name and release date of the movie based on the manga were also revealed. The movie will be called Spy x Family Code: White and will be released on December 22, 2023. There is no mention of whether this date is for a Japan-only or worldwide release, but it is assumed that it will be Japan-only. The plot of the movie, which will tell a completely original story, has yet to be revealed.

Spy x Family Manga, the alternative

As we always say, the world of Westfalis and Ostania is just as much fun in the anime as it is in the manga, so it’s never too late to jump on the physical version of Spy x Family. Created by Tatsuya Endo in March 2019 and available for free on Manga Plus (at least the first and last three chapters), the series continues to be released relatively regularly and now consists of 87 chapters. They can also be found in physical form thanks to publisher Viz Media, which has released 9 of the 12 volumes that make up the series in the United States, with volume 10 now available for pre-order with a release date of October 17, 2023.
