Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, how to unlock fast travel?

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has added a feature that many fans wanted in the first game, so here’s what you need to be able to fast travel around the Galaxy.

Update:
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

Like the original, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has a lot of metroidvania to it. The exploration and search for secrets is part of its essence, so the player will go to the same destinations over and over again. However, as you get new skills, you will be able to access places that were previously off-limits. The absence of fast travel in Jedi: Fallen Order was widely criticized for hindering exploration, but Respawn Entertainment has taken good note of this and has implemented them in the sequel, through the meditation circles.

How do you unlock fast travel?

You don’t have to do anything to unlock fast travel, just progress through the story. After completing the first section on Coruscant, Cal Kestis travels to Koboh, a mining planet full of nature and ruins. The Jedi’s intention is to get parts to repair the Mantis, his ship that was damaged after its raid on the Imperial capital.

However, during his stay on this new planet he makes some discoveries and delves into the dangers of Koboh. At a certain moment, the game itself tells you that fast travel has been unlocked. It is enough to discover a meditation circle so that it is activated in the corresponding menu.

How does fast travel work in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor?

Except at specific times, use of fast travel is possible at any time, as long as you are in a meditation point:

  • In the main menu there are several options, but the one that interests us is the one on the right. Click on ‘fast travel’.
  • A menu is displayed with all the meditation circles discovered on the planet where we are.
  • Click on the destination and you will automatically appear in the indicated place.

In addition to this system, scrolling between the different planets is also available. It is the same as in Fallen: Order, managed from the Mantis holotable, which shows all the possible destinations.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor can now be enjoyed on PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC. Here’s other related articles that may interest you:
