Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Surprises With How Much Space You Need on Your SSD

Get your SSD ready on the console if you are planning to play the next Star Wars adventure.

Update:
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will soon be available for pre-order on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, but gamers must begin to allocate a lot of space on their hard drive. According to their tabs in their respective digital stores, the console version follows suit to the PC version and exceeds 100 GB, except on Xbox Series S.

On the PS5 it will require 147.57 GB, while on the Xbox Series X, it will reach 139.08 GB. The Xbox Series S version requires less than half as much as the other two, at 44 GB. Preloading will be enabled gradually in the Xbox ecosystem. PS5 players will have to wait until April 26th to start downloading. The PC version exceeds the three mentioned above: 155 GB is what you will need for the new Star Wars adventure.

On the road to launch

Our colleagues in Spain had the opportunity to play a pre-release version of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor for several hours. They were able to test how new mechanics like the stances that change Cal Kestis’ fighting style work. “There is no doubt that the combat system has been polished from the ground up. In addition to the new stances, each stance has its own skill tree that adds new powers. The progression system also includes upgrades to Survival and Force powers, as well as a perk system that works in a similar way to Paper Mario.”

There will be no more delays. Although its release was initially expected for March, the extra month that Respawn Entertainment has had was dedicated to optimizing the experience and polishing some of the rough edges that were still present. Remember that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will hit the market next April 28 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
