Steam Deck levels up with the arrival of GeForce NOW natively
The native app brings high-quality GeForce RTX gaming to Valve’s handheld console.

A new option to play on Steam Deck has just arrived. After its official announcement during Nvidia’s presentation at CES 2025, the cloud service, GeForce NOW finally arrives officially as a new native app, with which to expect RTX quality in your hands.
What does GeForce NOW deliver on Steam Deck?
Simply put, Nvidia’s cloud gaming service, which allows you to run games on this service, is in your hands on Steam Deck. As announced in the company’s blog post, the app is now available, allowing gamers to stream titles “up to 4K 60 frames per second - connected to a TV - with HDR10, NVIDIA DLSS 4 and Reflex technologies on supported titles” at its highest membership level. This not only means that we will be able to enjoy games with a visual aspect that we could not do normally on the device, but it also means an increase of up to 50% in battery life.
In addition to these enhancements, GeForce NOW offers a total of 2,200 games including games from Steam, Epic Games, Ubisoft, Battle.Net and Xbox.
How much does GeForce NOW membership cost?
The GeForce Now service has a total of 3 levels, Free, Performance and Ultimate, which range from day, month and 6 month passes. Currently, the Performance level has a 40% summer discount promotion if you subscribe for a total of 6 months, coming to cost $29.99. After 6 months it returns to a total of $49.99. On the other hand, the Ultimate version, which has all the improvements, has a cost of $99.99 for 6 months.
