Stellar Blade: some players claim the game was censored and that the protagonist isn’t revealing enough
Stellar Blade was released with certain changes to some of Eve’s outfits, and some players have taken up arms against Sony because of it.
Walking through the deserts of Stellar Blade with Eve dressed in a bunny outfit, one might think that the champions of sexualization weren’t going to have problems with the game. But you’d be wrong, as they definitely do. Although its creators boasted of having a release without censorship in all regions, the first buyers of the title have been quick to complain that the protagonist is more covered than expected.
As fashion experts and newly self-appointed judges of “Haute Couture”, some users point out several changes in the protagonist’s outfits for which they blame Sony, with the hashtag #FreeStellarBlade accusing the publisher of taking away their lascivious enjoyment of the game.
Unfortunately, these types of comments have taken over much of the discussion, both negative and positive, reducing the value of the game to how hot the protagonist is and how sexy she’s presented instead of the actual game she’s a part of. After all, as mentioned in our review, Stellar blade has plenty of other positives for which it is worth playing:
“It’s a fantastic game with a very complete and demanding combat system, a long-lasting adventure, and a unique science fiction setting that results in a fabulous set and from now on our number 1 candidate for sleeper-hit of the year. Eve may not be an icon like Ellie or Aloy, but we hope this is not her last adventure.”
