‘Stranger Things’: Millie Bobby Brown broke down in tears on the last day of filming
The final season of ‘Stranger Things’ has now ended its filming, and it’s proven to be emotional for most of the cast, including its main star.
Nine years after its premiere in 2025, the cast of ‘Stranger Things’ said goodbye to the series forever, since as the official account of the series on X (Twitter) has announced, the final season has finished filming. Now it is the turn of directors, producers, and technical staff, to play here and there so that the last season of one of the biggest hits of Netflix has an ending to match, but its protagonists will not return to work the next day.
Its protagonists (Eleven, Mike, Will...) have grown up together and have witnessed how they have all gone from pre-adolescents to adults, thus sharing a great and important stage of their lives. For this reason, Millie Bobby Brown, who plays Eleven, could not avoid tears while reading a farewell letter to all her colleagues and friends.
“Isn’t graduation supposed to bring relief? Like you’re glad to leave behind the teachers and classmates. Not me.” said the young actress while reading a farewell speech to the cast and crew. “I am nowhere near ready to leave you guys. I love each and every one of you and I will forever carry the memories and bonds we created together as a family. I love you, thank you.”
When does the final season of ‘Stranger Things’ premiere?
With filming just completed and the post-production process underway, the most optimistic thing is to think that the fifth and final season of ‘Stranger Things’ will premiere just after the summer of this coming 2025. However, the most realistic thing is to think about the end of the year, especially considering that the platform has already left its big premiere of the year for the last days of 2024, as is the second season of ‘Squid Game’.
