‘Stranger Things’ Season 5 already has a premiere date: Netflix will split the final season into three parts
The final season will be a long time coming.

The wait has been quite long, but Stranger Things Season 5 finally has a premiere date. This season promises to be the last one. Through this year’s Netflix TUDUM, it was revealed that the final season will be divided into three parts, as shown in the trailer.
When is Stranger Things 5 coming out?
As revealed in the presentation with actors Finn Wolfhard, Caleb McLaughlin, and Noah Schnapp, Stranger Things will premiere this 2025 in a three-part format. Volume 1 will arrive on November 26, Volume 2 will be released on December 25, and the grand finale will premiere on December 31, just to close out the year. This strategy follows the same pattern as season 4, where Netflix bet on presenting the episodes in blocks to generate greater expectation.
The Stranger Things cast returns… along with a favorite
The entire main cast returns for this latest adventure: Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, Joe Keery, Sadie Sink, Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Maya Hawke, Brett Gelman, Priah Ferguson, and Jamie Campbell Bower as Vecna. Also joining the cast is a legendary figure: Linda Hamilton, star of Terminator, in a role that is still being kept under wraps.
What to expect from the final season of Stranger Things?
Stranger Things season 5 will consist of eight episodes. The first will be titled ‘The Crawl’ and will be set in the fall of 1987, more than a year after the events that occurred in the previous season. Back then, Max (Sadie Sink) was left in critical condition after confronting Vecna, and the group witnessed the world of the Reverse begin to merge with their own.
Netflix also revealed the titles for the remaining episodes, but the title of the second episode is still a mystery and only has a partial name: “The Vanishing of...”. Other titles include “The Turnbow Trap,” “Sorcerer,” “Shock Jock,” “Escape From Camazotz,” “The Bridge,” and “The Rightside Up,” which likely echoes the alternate universe that has been key to the entire plot.
