This afternoon, Geoff Keighley presented what’s in store for the gaming world in the coming months, kicking off a summer of industry-related announcements.

Summer is just around the corner, and without an E3 to attend, Geoff Keighley has raised his hand to present us with almost 2 hours of the future of gaming, kicking off this always-anticipated time for fans of the gaming industry to know everything that will be coming in the coming months.

As expected, Geoff was the master of ceremonies throughout the event, introducing the games and inviting studios and developers to the YouTube Theater presentation, which was the first live presentation of the event.

These are all the announcements of Summer Game Fest 2023:

Prince of Persia - The Lost Crown

A new Prince of Persia 2.5 D game developed by Ubisoft was presented. It is a spin-off where we must save the title character. It will be released on January 18, 2024. More details of the game will be revealed this Monday on Ubisoft Forward.

Mortal Kombat 1

The first extended gameplay of Mortal Kombat 1 was shown, showing the new characters, how the Kameo Fighters work, and some deaths. The gameplay showed fights with Kung Lao, Sub-Zero, Johnny Cage, Scorpion, Raiden and more. Ed Boon, the creator of Mortal Kombat, took the stage to give more details about the Kameo Fighters, mentioning that players will be able to “combine” characters when choosing their fighter. Some characters can participate as Kameo Fighters, but some will only be available in this section.

Exorpimal X Street Fighter 6

Not out yet, but Exoprimal announces its first crossover with Street Fighter 6, which will be available this fall.

Dead By Daylight

A new trailer for Nicolas Cage in Dead By Daylight was presented. Even Geoff didn’t know how this happened, so he invited Cage to talk about this crazy presentation. According to the actor, he is an exaggerated version of himself and has to become a survivor in this world full of horror characters. For Cage, this is an opportunity to “branch out” into the world of video games.

The Witcher Season 3

Inspired by the books that inspired the video game... well, Geoff had the opportunity to present a new trailer for the Netflix adaptation with Henry Cavill and the rest of the cast. The Witcher Season 3 will premiere on June 21 this year.

Path of Exile II

After years of development, we finally have some gameplay from Path of Exile II, a dungeon crawler. More information will be released on July 28th.


This dark and magical shooter will be available in Early Access on September 30th.

Crossfire Sierra Squad

Presented at the PlayStation Showcase, we took another look at this shooter for PlayStation VR 2. Crossfire Sierra Squad will be released in August 2023.

Remnant II

A third-person shooter (inspired by the Soulslike genre) with big explosions and action, coming out on July 25.

Sonic Superstars

Sonic is back with a 2D game that features a new look, cooperative mode and new abilities. It will arrive in the fall 2023.

Honkai: Star Rail

Fans of this HoyoVerse title who have been waiting for its arrival on PlayStation can finally mark their calendars, as it will be coming to PlayStation 5 in the last quarter of this year.

Lies of P

The trailer for this Pinocchio-inspired spiritual title showed us a bit of the story and its unique visual style. It also gave us a release date of September 19th this year and a demo is already available for PlayStation, Xbox and PC.

Sand Land

Inspired by the work of Akira Toriyama, creator of Dragon Ball, we have the debut of a new game inspired by this manga (and upcoming movie), Sand Land. The title will be released for PlayStation, Xbox and PC consoles.

Throne and Liberty

NCSoft and Amazon Games present this MMORPG that has already opened its subscription for technical testing.


Nexon presented the trailer of its sword-fighting game, which will be released this fall.

Party Animals

The animal-pushing game Party Animals will be released on September 20.

Alan Wake 2

Sam Lake, the creator of Alan Wake, came all the way from Finland to talk about more details about Alan Wake 2, its world and characters. In this story, the FBI is investigating a murder where things happen that are related to the story of a writer whose initials are AW. A short gameplay video was shown with Saga, the FBI agent, facing the supernatural.

Warhammer Space Marine

The first gameplay of the cooperative mode of this title was presented, revealing that it will arrive in the winter of this year.

Yes, Your Grace

With a pixel 2D look comes this medieval title in which we control a king both at court and in battle.

John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando

Nothing like facing zombies on a vehicle to the rhythm of Bon Jovi, this title will arrive in 2024. An unexpected collaboration.

Baldurs Gate III

Jason Isaacs was introduced as the actor who will voice the second antagonist of Baldur’s Gate III. The game finally leaves Early Access and will be released on August 31st.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2

New art and gameplay from Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 was presented, confirming new villains and that this Venom is not Eddie Brock and wants to tell a new story. They also talked about how the symbiote will change the gameplay in the game. It is confirmed that the game map is growing and now includes Manhattan, Queens and Brooklyn as part of the map. The big surprise is that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will be released on October 20, 2023.


This Pokémon-like RPG but with weapons presented its trailer showing the different monsters and environments that will be played. The early access will be in January 2024

The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria

This Lord of the Rings title focused on the dwarves of Middle-earth and the recapture of one of their most important cities, Moria. The title will arrive in the fall of this year.

Final Fantasy VII - Ever Crisis

This spin-off of Final Fantasy VII this time focused on Sephiroth will come to mobile devices. The pre-registration is already available and the closed beta for Android will be from June 8 to 28.

Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden

This supernatural-looking action title will be available later this year.

Like a Dragon Gaiden - The Man who erased his name

With a new trailer, we return to the world of Yakuza with the man formerly known as Kazuma Kiryu.

This game that takes us to the underwater depths August 29

Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 - Season 4

The first trailer for Season 4 of Modern Warfare 2, which will take us to an abandoned zoo, a castle and even a football stadium. It will arrive in the game next week, on June 14.


This farming sim shows off its new trailer as well as the announcement that it will be coming to PC and Nintendo Switch on September 8th.

Marvel Snap

Ben Brode took the stage to talk about the biggest update to the game and announced Conquest, the new game mode for Marvel Snap.

Twisted Metal

There was a sneak preview of Sweet Tooth’s character for the upcoming live action series to be released by Peacock.

Lysfangha: The time Shift Warrior

This isometric hack and slash will allow us to create doubles of our character, as well as manipulate time to face waves of enemies. This indie will arrive in 2023.

Immortals of Aveum

We had a new trailer of the title from Ascendant Studios. Darren Barnet, the actor who gives life to the main character of the game, took the stage to give some details of the game’s story and present a new gameplay. Don’t miss our preview, here

Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3

Tomorrow the new season of Fortnite, Wilds, debuts, and here the trailer was presented. And in case there was any doubt, the presence of Optimus Prime has already been confirmed for the season.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth

It wasn’t Death Stranding 2, nor Armored Core 6, but Summer Game Fest ended with a glimpse of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. Beyond the big surprise and a glimpse of the story, it will arrive (on two discs) in early 2024 for PlayStation 5.
