Superman: Legacy now has a date for the start of its filming, according to James Gunn
The new beginning of the DC Universe starts its filming really soon, ready for its release in 2025.
The future of the DC Universe is being expected with high hopes by all its fans, with James Gunn as the leading figure and ‘Superman: Legacy’ as the film that will kick everything off in a big way. Gunn himself is the director and screenwriter of this first movie, and has already confirmed the date on which filming is set to begin. It will be next March 2024, as said the director himself in Threads, responding to an alleged shooting schedule that had been leaked.
Before that, Gunn stated: “Not sure where this logline came from. I didn’t write it. It has elements of truth (obviously based on things I’ve said in the past). But I wouldn’t describe the plot this way, & I wouldn’t call Clark a cub reporter. He’s a thirty-year-old full-on reporter. But, yeah, we shoot in March. I’m grateful every day our production team worked their asses off to keep things going through the strikes. Forces impelled us to stop many times - & if we had we’d never make July 2025.”
