‘Ted Lasso’ Season 4 gets heartwarming first trailer ahead of August premiere

“Life is so much more than football.”

Update:

The World Cup ended a few weeks ago, and even though some domestic leagues are already underway, the need for that sports-related something that has captured so many people’s attention remains. And maybe, after all, we just need a little comfort for our hearts with the arrival of the new Ted Lassoseason 4 trailer, which gives us a fresh look three months after the release of its teaser—and which you can watch below:

Coach Lasso Is Back for Season 4

After the series ended following its third season, as planned, the character played by Jason Sudeikis still has plenty of life advice to offer. The trailer serves as a welcome back to Lasso, who returns to AFC Richmond after a few years “taking on his biggest challenge yet: coaching a second-division women’s soccer team,” the synopsis reads. “Throughout the season, Ted and the team learn to leap before they look, taking chances they never thought they would.”

A new team, a new cast

The series will feature many familiar faces, notably the return of Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple, Brett Goldstein, Brendan Hunt, andJeremy Swift, alongside new additions Tanya Reynolds, Jude Mack, Faye Marsay, Rex Hayes, Aisling Sharkey, Abbie Hern, and Grant Feely.
