The creator of ‘Invincible’ sends a message to his dream actor to join the series’ cast: “We’ll get him”
Robert Kirkman refuses to give up and will keep pushing until he lands his star signing.
‘Invincible’ has not only established itself as one of Prime Video’s biggest hits, but also as one of the most popular series of recent years. However, its creator still has a thorn in his side that he can’t seem to get rid of, no matter how hard he tries. For years, his big dream has been to convince the great Bryan Cranston (‘Breaking Bad’) to join the cast in any role, but the actor has always ended up turning down all his offers.
Far from giving up, Robert Kirkman used his interview with DiscussingFilm to make it clear that he has no intention of abandoning his plan to have Cranston voice one of the characters in his superhero series. “We’re not going to stop offering him roles. He’s not going to win. We’ll get him,” he declared. Kirkman’s comments come a few weeks after it was revealed that, during the production of the fourth season of ‘Invincible,’ they tried to sign both Bryan Cranston and Tom Cruise. Will they have better luck with the upcoming seasons of the series?
