Bethesda’s legendary RPG returns with Unreal Engine 5 graphics and all of its expansions, available today!

oblivion remastered

It is time to play as if it were 2006. Last week it was leaked that a remaster of the classic The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is coming in a fully remastered version. This week Bethesda announced a special broadcast with a screenshot of the classic IV. Now it’s official, with the company bringing back the mythical open-world action RPG that conquered the world and was the prelude to the equally successful Skyrim.

During the broadcast, the first details of this version were revealed. The development team for this remastering is from the French studio Virtuos, which has already worked with Bethesda. The visual comparison is amazing, and during their stream, the studio revealed some of the details that achieve this leap, using Unreal Engine 5, the recreation of redesigned models and assets, as well as a lighting system that improves the look. In addition to all the improvements, fans of the title can expect the experience to be complete. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered includes the expansions Knights of the Nine and Shivering Isles.

When will The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered be released?

The most surprising thing of all is its release date, because it doesn’t have to be; it’s already out! That’s right, Oblivion Remastered is already out on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (also on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate). The game is priced at $49.99 on all platforms, and Bethesda has also confirmed a Deluxe Edition that includes unreleased missions.
