The ‘Lilo & Stitch’ live-action remake now has its first teaser and a release date

With only a few weeks more left for 2024, the film industry is starting to tease fans with everything that is set to release next year in theaters around the world. And of course, Disney wasn’t going to be left behind, as this time they’ve unveiled our first good look of Stitch in action. While it’s only a teaser, you can find the first footage of the ‘Lilo & Stitch’ live-action remake below, which also reveals the release date for the film: May 23, 2025.

Not many details are known about the adaptation yet, but as it’s expected to be a remake of the original animated film, expectations are very high. The original ‘Lilo & Stitch’ became one of Disney’s most beloved productions of the 21st century. The animated film was released in the summer of 2002 and surprised both the little ones in the house and the rest of the audience thanks to the moving story of Lilo, a girl who decided to adopt a dog named Stitch. Well, actually it wasn’t a dog, but an alien born as a result of a secret experiment that arrived on planet Earth by chance. We will have to wait to find out more about the new film.
