The new iPhone 15 will be equipped with batteries almost as large as 5,000 mAh

A new report has shown that the upcoming Apple phones could last for much longer thanks to a huge upgrade in battery capacity.

If you are one of the Apple fans who doesn’t miss any of the Keynotes, surely you are very aware of all the features of their latest devices. But of course, Apple is not one of those who always gives very technical details and drops features such as “batteries that last all day” although over time these end up not being true depending on the use that is given to them.

That is why before, when we talked about the capacity of these, sometimes the quantity is more important than the quality. There was hardly any improvement in this regard from the iPhone 13 to 14, but everything indicates that this coming year we will see improvements in this section. According to what they say in Macrumors, the iPhone 15 will have a more generous battery than seen in previous years.

Batteries of almost 5,000 mAh

This means that the batteries will be larger, or at least have a greater capacity. It could be that we’ll find ourselves with batteries that are close to 5,000 mAh, which would provide much more autonomy by simply having more energy storage capacity. The phones’ batteries would look like this:

  • iPhone 15: 3.877 mAh
  • iPhone 15 Plus: 4.915 mAh
  • iPhone 15 Pro: 3.650 mAh
  • iPhone 15 Pro Max: 4.852 mAh

As you can see, the numbers are more than promising and this, together with a good optimization of both the operating system and the different applications in operation, we would have some of the most durable phones of the next generation from Apple. Now we just have to wait to find out if these data are real or not, although, from what we told you before, Apple will surely guarantee that the phone will work throughout the day in its next Keynote.
