The PlayStation Plus Essential free PS5 games for August 2026 have been revealed
Sony has shared the three upcoming titles that’ll be free to claim for PlayStation Plus subscribers during August.
It’s that time of the month when PlayStation reveals the games coming to its PlayStation Plus Essential service. This August 2026, we have the classic 3-game combo, as well as a special pack for those who can’t get enough of Marvel’s upcoming fighting game.
With its usual post on the PlayStation Blog, it has been revealed that we’ll see take on the role of Aiden Caldwell, a wanderer with the power to change the fate of The City, but the exceptional abilities come at a price in Dying Light 2 Stay Human: Reloaded Edition, set out with your friends through a wide-open world full of challenges, puzzles, and discoveries in Big Walk. Finally, awaken from slumber and explore a surreal retrotech world as Elster, a technician Replika searching for her lost partner and her lost dreams in Signalis.

As a bonus, PlayStation Plus members will have the chance to get the MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls PlayStation Plus Pack, starting August 6. This pack contains two sets of items:
- Five Avatars inspired by characters from MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls, featuring Captain America, Storm, Spider-Man, Doctor Doom, and Ghost Rider.
- A set of in-game Result Screen Character Poses featuring 20 characters, including Spider-Man, Ms. Marvel, Star-Lord, Peni Parker and more.
Last Chance for July 2026 Games
Although the month has just begun, players will still be able to redeem these titles until Tuesday, August 7, so there is time to claim the games that arrived in July. Remember that last month’s list consists of:
