The PlayStation Plus Essential free PS5 games for July 2026 have been revealed
Sony has shared the three upcoming titles that’ll be free to claim for PlayStation Plus subscribers during July.
It’s that time of the month when PlayStation reveals the games coming to its PlayStation Plus Essential service. It’s a strange time right now, considering this morning’s announcement from PlayStation that 2028 will be the last time we see physical games on their consoles, as well as the announcement that one of their longest-running digital stores is closing... but anyway, let’s take a look at what’s coming starting Tuesday, July 7.
With its usual post on the PlayStation Blog, it has been revealed that we’ll see Captain Price and Task Force 141 face off against ultranationalist war criminal Vladimir Makarov as he extends his grasp across the world in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, gather your party in four player co-op or adventure alone through Fahrul as you risk everything to fight the tyrannical queen and bring an end to Queen Rosomon oppressive reign in For the King II. Finally, get the puzzles of old-school action-adventure dungeons and are rewarded with the great variety of equipment you know and love from RPGs in CrossCode.
