The ‘Poohniverse’ is a new horror multiverse line of films including Pinnochio, Peter Pan, Bambi and Winnie the Pooh

‘Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey’ was only the first stepping stone of a whole universe that is looking to release its own ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ in 2025.

When ‘Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey’, the bloody horror film about a character who has accompanied so many during their childhood, arrived, no one could imagine that the charismatic bear would be joined in becoming slasher monsters by such notable names as Pinocchio, Peter Pan, and Bambi, among others. Well, the festival of terror has only just begun, because its creators have announced ‘Poohniverse: Monsters Assemble’, the crossover that no one was expecting.

It’s exactly what it sounds like: a horror film in which the evil versions of such iconic characters as Winnie the Pooh, Peter Pan, Mad Hatter, Sleeping Beauty, Pinocchio, Bambi, Tinker Bell, Tigger, and Pigglet come together. The film will be released sometime in 2025 and one of the premises is that, in addition to trying to end the lives of innocent people, the monsters will also compete with each other, so bloodletting is guaranteed.

Jagged Edge’s Scott Chambers has explained to Variety that he has always liked the idea of seeing a horror crossover, although he believes it is impossible that one day a movie will be made that brings together villains like Freddy Krueger, Scream, Jason Voorhes, and Michael Myers. For this reason, Chambers believes that ‘Poohniverse: Monsters Assemble’ could achieve something similar “in its own way”.

Villains also attack separately

In fact, some will do so before meeting their friends(?) in ‘Poohniverse: Monsters Assemble’, since the Peter Pan horror movie (‘Neverland Nightmare’) will be released sometime in 2024. It will not be the only one, as Pinocchio is also preparing to land this year with ‘Pinocchio Unstrung’, whose first glimpse could not be more disturbing.
