The ‘Squid Game’ Season 2 teaser invites you back to play the deadliest game ever
‘Squid Game’ Season 2 is bringing new episodes of the series to Netflix on December 26, 2024.
The promise of making millions, the prospect of paying off all debt, and living like a rich man. They are people with different origins and situations, but they have been invited to participate in the biggest contest of their lives. Or for their lives because not only can they change it, but most of them will lose it during the competition. That is the premise of ‘Squid Game’, the hit Korean series produced by Netflix, in which the participants risk their necks to survive and win the promised sum of money. Like a battle royale, the contestants participate in deadly eliminations until only one remains. The platform has just published a new teaser trailer, which can be seen below.
In the video, the clock tells the time and the daily activities of everyday life are carried out: opening the window in the morning, taking a shower before going out, dressing up properly... and then, the not-so-normal: a safe, red and blue cards, and money. A lot of money. It’s time to go out to the streets to invite the selected participants. If you accept, you will be taken to a secret location.
‘The Squid Game’ will end in 2025
Three years after the first season’s premiere, Netflix will release the second on December 26. Despite the success of the series, the platform has announced that it will conclude in 2025 with a third and final season. After winning the contest, Seong Gi-hun (Lee Jung-Jae) falls into depression and travels to the United States to reunite with his daughter. However, at the airport, he sees how they are trying to recruit someone for the contest, so he decides to do everything possible to stop the murderers and put an end to the ‘Squid Game’ forever.
The official video game of ‘Squid Game’, Squid Game: Unleashed, will be released for iOS and Android mobile devices and will offer a fast action experience and battle royale style multiplayer.
