The Switch 2 design may have been leaked by a third-party accessory maker
A since-deleted trailer for an accessory company seems to have revealed a blurry picture of the Switch 2, revealing its possible design before it’s even been officially announced.
Nintendo has not yet revealed what its next-generation console will look like. The Japanese Company has assured that they will provide more information before the end of the current fiscal year (March 31, 2025), although they have not yet named a more specific date. Meanwhile, rumors and leaks have not stopped emerging on social networks and the media. In the absence of any official communication, accessory company Satisfye appears to have leaked the design of the Nintendo Switch 2, but is this the real deal?
The manufacturer published a trailer for its ZenGrip 2 accessory, in which a blurry image of the supposed console appeared. Shortly after it was deleted, but not before users took screenshots and shared them on social networks. Meanwhile, the product website is still available, although Switch 2 is not mentioned at any time. In the description, it specifies that the accessory is intended for a new-generation machine and that it is designed to work in a dock. In any case, it points out that the design may vary depending on whether the manufacturer (let’s say Nintendo) decides to modify the hardware.
An advertising campaign or something more? There is only speculation
Some third-party companies indeed receive details from companies to prepare their products in advance, but it is not clear that all of them have this data. It is worth wondering if Satisfye is one of them or if this movement is due to an attempt to attract attention so that the media focus is on them. A well-considered advertising campaign, a mistake, or a little of everything? The truth is that the leaks indicate that the design of the Nintendo Switch 2 will be quite similar to that of the current models.
According to the website, the launch of ZenGrip 2 is scheduled for spring 2025, but this is an approximate date since it obviously depends on the marketing date of the new Nintendo system.
