The highly awaited horror sequel, ‘28 Years Later’, has quickly risen up the ranks in horror royalty to become the second most watched trailer of the genre ever.

28 años despues

We know have the trailer for ‘28 Years Later’, the third entry of the series directed by Danny Boyle (‘Trainspotting’), which will be a revival and sequel to ‘28 days later’ (2002) and ‘28 weeks later’ (2007). In it, you can see how more than 10,000 days after a zombie apocalypse changed humanity forever, various groups of people created settlements everywhere to show the way of life before the notorious catastrophe. Jodie Comer, Ralph Fiennes and Aaron Taylor-Johnson star in the film, with the glaring absence of Cillian Murphy, who played the main protagonist of the previous two films, Jim, although there is some speculation that he does indeed appear in the trailer. However, this was denied by the actor himself, who’ll show up as an art dealer named Angus Neill.

The trailer of ‘28 Years Later’ has been a hit and that can be verified with the numbers. The Danny Boyle film has achieved 60.2 million views in its first 24 hours, becoming the second most-viewed horror movie trailer in history.

What movie surpasses the trailer for ‘28 Years Later’?

In 2017, the world of horror films had a boom with the premiere of the remake of ‘It’. However, it is not the trailer of this film that surpasses ‘28 years later’, but of its sequel ‘It: Chapter 2′. The film released in 2019 has a record that is difficult to beat, and it is that The extract reached 96 million views on the first day it came out.
