The wait is over, ‘Jujutsu Kaisen’ presents the first trailer for its third season and there is already a release date
One of the most popular anime series of recent years returns in style.
It’s official: ‘Jujutsu Kaisen’ is coming back soon with its third season, and the first trailer has us dreaming of an adaptation that will once again live up to Gege Akutami’s work. We won’t have to wait long, as it will premiere in January 2026 and will be one of the highlights of the 2026 winter anime season.
The season is called ‘Jujutsu Kaisen: The Culling Game‚’ in reference to the penultimate arc of the work, and in this case it will be the first part of it, which will also include the two previous arcs (Itadori’s Extermination Arc and Perfect Preparation Arc), thus beginning this arc. In the trailer, we see old acquaintances and some new faces, including Yuji Itadori, Yuta Okkotsu, and Maki Zenin, who will be very important.
Jujutsu Kaisen also announces a compilation movie.
In addition to the new season, Jujutsu Kaisen will release a movie called ‘Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution’ in Japan on November 7. The film will be released in North America on December 5 and will include a summary of the “Shibuya Incident” arc and the first two episodes of ‘Culling Game.’
This is a great opportunity to enjoy one of the best story arcs in recent anime history on the big screen and, at the same time, see the start of the next season of Jujutsu Kaisen.
