One Piece

They dive into ‘One Piece’ for clues to its ending and deduce what Luffy will do when he becomes king of the pirates

A detail that may become important again three decades later.

one piece

‘One Piece’ and its ending is one of the greatest mysteries in the history of manga and anime, and if we were to say that it is the greatest of all, we would not be wrong. A moment that will completely revolutionize the Internet and before which there are all kinds of theories, but one of the possible moments that we will see in the outcome of the work has been in front of us since the first chapter. What is it? A detail that is pure Monkey D. Luffy, and that many followers of the series have overlooked.

Chapter 1 of ‘One Piece’ is titled ‘Romance Dawn’, pages that are history of our time and that when they were published no one could have thought what the work would end up becoming. It is inside Partys Bar, the tavern where Makino works in Foosha Village, and where Luffy spends the hours while the tavern keeper offers him all her love, food and a place to hang out. All this does not go unnoticed by Luffy, who tells Makino that he will pay her back when he finds his own treasure.

Eiichiro Oda and his attention to detail

Will Makino be one of the protagonists of Luffy’s actions after the end of ‘One Piece’? Knowing Eiichiro Oda and his attention to detail, there is no doubt that this outstanding account of the protagonist will be settled once everything is over. A few lines of text in a first chapter published in 1997 that more than three decades later will once again be remembered and taken into account.

A friend of Luffy’s since childhood, who was also very connected to Ace. A figure of enormous kindness, conciliatory, polite and considerate, who does not like conflicts or rudeness. In spite of everything, she is not a prejudiced character, and she proves it thanks to the friendship she strikes up with Shanks and his crew despite the fact that they are pirates, and neither did she despise Luffy at any time for his dream of becoming one. Rather, on the contrary, she is happy to see that his friend achieves a lot of impressive feats and overcomes his share of challenges.
