An actor confirms what we all wanted to hear about the third season of Netflix’s ‘One Piece’
While waiting for the premiere of the second season of the live-action series based on Luffy’s adventures, we already have news about its future.

‘One Piece’, the live-action series based on the popular manga and anime led by Monkey D. Luffy, has been one of Netflix’s recent big hits, so the company did not hesitate to give the green light to a second season that is still in development. What no one expected at this point is that its makers are already working on a third season that is still a long way off. However, the cast is keeping quiet: “I can’t tell you anything.”
Mackenyu (Roronoa Zoro) confirms the third season of ‘One Piece’
Thus, during a recent interview with Crunchyroll, Mackenyu, the actor who gives life to the powerful swordsman Roronoa Zoro, casually confirmed that the third season of ‘One Piece’ is already underway. However, the actor was reluctant to divulge any further details, leaving fans eagerly anticipating more information about this immensely successful live-action series.

Despite the announcement and the fact that we all know the story, the absence of new details leaves everything to speculation. While the second season of ‘One Piece’ is set to introduce long-awaited characters like Tony Tony Chopper as the crew embarks on their journey to the Grand Line, Mackenyu did not provide further details about the upcoming third season.
“We do have projects lined up for this year before we shoot Season 3 of ‘One Piece’, but I can’t tell you anything about that, so it’s not going to be fun for y’all”, the actor assured. However, despite the excitement caused by these words, we will have to wait until the premiere of the second season to know details about the third one.

When does the second season of ‘One Piece’ premiere?
At the moment, there is no confirmed date for the premiere of the second season of ‘One Piece’, although the recent announcement of the new LEGO sets based on the popular manga and anime franchise left us with a most revealing clue: “while waiting for the new episodes of ‘One Piece’, which will arrive at the end of the year”. This means that the second season of ‘One Piece’ could premiere on Netflix this coming fall, between October and December, with the more than likely second season of ‘Wednesday’ shortly before or shortly after.
