This is how the NBA would look with the Apple Vision Pro: 5 simultaneous games, live data, and more

The new Apple Vision Pro will be available today, and we are already beginning to see how it can be used in everyday life, such as an NBA game.

Apple Vision Pro cambia forma disfrutar NBA

The potential of a device like the Apple Vision Pro is enormous. Mixed reality is giving rise to a multitude of companies developing concepts to expand the way we enjoy our entertainment. This February 2 arrives to the first users in the United States who have made their reservation, at which time we will know firsthand how they perform in battle. One of the first users has already shared a spectacular concept to enjoy the sport beyond our TV.

The NBA like you’ve never seen it before with Apple Vision Pro

As user Brian Tong shows on X (formerly Twitter), sports like the NBA can be enjoyed in much more detail when using a device like this. He uses the multitasking screen as an example. In the center, we have our main game, and around it we place the real-time information panels we want. In this way, we not only enjoy the game we are interested in, but we also know minute by minute what is going on in the rest of the round.

What happens when we want to watch more than one game at a time? Say goodbye to your tablet or laptop. Simply pinch the side of the main panel to display two more, each with a different game. It even does the same on the opposite side, so you can watch five games at once without taking up any physical space in your home.

As we said at the beginning, what we saw in the video is just a concept developed by NextVR. When will the NBA broadcast itself adopt it? Only time will tell. It will probably happen when the device goes beyond the US market and into a larger number of units, by which time we may be talking about another generation of the Apple Vision Pro. Just remember, if you want one, you’re going to have to dig deep into your pocket.
