Metal Gear Solid Delta, the remake of Hideo Kojima's masterpiece
Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is the remake of the third numbered entry in the series. Hideo Kojima stunned the action genre in 2004, and 21 years later, Konami is bringing it back with a spectacular graphical upgrade. As part of the Tokyo Game Show, the team has released a new trailer in which we can see in-depth how some of its main characters look. The before and after is a spectacular leap. It will arrive in 2025 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
Snake
Virtous, the studio in charge of the remake, will drastically improve the original's injury system. Every wound and blow on Snake's body will have a realistic reaction on his character.
Eva
Partner or rival? Eva's arrival on the virtuous mission disrupts Snake's plans and gradually gains his trust.
Volgin
The wounds on Volgin's face are much deeper and more detailed in the remake. It better conveys the unbridled ambition of a character willing to do whatever it takes to accomplish his plan.
The Boss
Things change a bit in this comparison. In the original, his face has a subtle gesture of sadness that the remake fails to convey. It will be released in 2025, so there is still room to change some things that have fallen by the wayside.
Revolver Ocelot
The mythical gunslinger from Snake Eater has seen the most changes. He has more hair and less aggressive features. What you can see in the picture is the light boost. If you look closely, you can see the light bouncing around the barrel and illuminating the inner chamber
Sokolov
Sokolov, the package to be unpacked on the other side of the Iron Curtain. What he doesn't know yet is how many twists and turns his life will take once it falls into the wrong hands.

Zero
Although an in-game image of Zero has yet to be seen, Konami has revealed what the character's new design looks like. He will make very few physical appearances during the game, but you won't be able to stop listening to him through the radio.
