Tom Holland to star in the next Christopher Nolan movie, which may well be a vampire drama

Tom Holland is now set to star alongside Matt Damon in Christopher Nolan’s next project, which is set to release in 2026.

After the ‘Spider-Man’ trilogy by Jon Watts (and a fourth one on the way), Tom Holland will be part of the new film by British director Christopher Nolan. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actor will join Matt Damon as co-star of a film that is carried to the most extreme secrecy, since few details about it are known. This will be the first time that Tom Holland works with the director of films like ‘Memento’, ‘The Dark Knight’, and ‘Dunkirk’. This is not the case for Matt Damon, since he will join the select group of performers who have worked at least on three of his films, having already participated in ‘Interstellar’ and ‘Oppenheimer’.

Christopher Nolan is changing movie genres

The secrecy surrounding the next movie by Christopher Nolan is extreme, but now that the protagonists are revealed, filming will begin at the beginning of next year with a release date on July 17, 2026; neither the title of the film nor what genre it is going to belong to. The latter is what most intrigues fans of the director since lately, two conflicting rumors about what Nolan is going to do have appeared online. One of them was given by Variety, confirming that the feature film would move away from science fiction and that it was speculated that it could be a spy movie, a genre that the director has not yet touched.

However, the latest rumor that has emerged is far from what Variety commented, since Gizmodo has stated that a reliable source has dropped that the untitled film will be a vampire drama set in the 1920s. This has blown the minds of fans since it is too far from what was previously seen by Christopher Nolan. There is nothing confirmed yet regarding this topic, but More and more details of the next megaproject are becoming known from one of the most important directors of the century.
