'Top Gun 3′ already in development and could be Tom Cruise's next movie
A part three about which the script is already being written, according to the media Puck News.
Many years passed between the first and the second part of ‘Top Gun’, but it seems that we will not have to wait so long to see a third part. A hugely successful saga that with ‘Top Gun: Maverick’ one of the most prominent titles in theaters in recent times, and the idea is to return to achieve a similar success with a third installment.
Puck News’ Matthew Belloni has reported that the new film is already in the works, with Ehren Kruger currently working on the script, producers Jerry Bruckheimer and David Ellison involved in the project, and Joseph Kosinski expected to either direct or produce the film.
‘Top Gun 3′ would mean the return of Tom Cruise alongside Miles Teller and Glen Powell. More stories of Pete ‘Maverick’ Mitchell, the charismatic character played by Cruise, who recently signed a deal with Warner Bros. Discovery, but depending on how the schedule develops, his projects with the production company could be a long time coming, as the new ‘Top Gun’ will involve working with Paramount Pictures.
