Warhammer 40,000

Warhammer 40,000 Space Marine 3 is now official and Titus has a lot of blood left to spill

Saber and Focus confirm the project, but promise that Space Marine 2 still has “years” of updates to go.

Space Marine 3

What a way to end the week. First the announcement of a new Silent Hill and now, a new Space Marine. Although 13 years passed between the first and the second installment, Saber and Focus Entertainment have just confirmed that Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 3 is already underway and won’t take so long to come. The sequel, the best action game of 2024, has been an undisputed success and surpassed 5 million units sold in just one month.

Saber and Focus have promised that they will work to “redefine the standards of third-person action games” with this new installment and confirm that they will once again count on Titus for a new campaign that, as always, will be a bloodbath and will have a very important multiplayer component. Even so, both companies also wanted to reassure recent buyers of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 that it will continue to receive updates for “years”.

For those of you who haven’t tried the game yet, there’s nothing like reading Henry Cavill singing its praises. Cavill, by the way, is so into Warhammer 40,000 that he has even created an adaptation in the form of a series that will arrive very soon to Amazon Prime Video and in which he will act as producer and protagonist. Will he dare to play Titus? In any case, and returning to Space Marine 2, this is what we said about the game in our analysis. Reasons not to miss it:

“It cleverly combines the usual mechanics of third-person shooter games with visceral melee combat more typical of the hack ‘n slash genre. The technical and performance level is a marvel, and the sheer number of enemies that can be on screen at once is impressive. Space Marine 2 is one of the best adaptations of the popular board game to the video game format. You will enjoy it if you are a fan of Games Workshop’s IP. And honestly, if you’re not, but you like to shoot without knowledge, too”.
