Warning: Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Leak on the Internet

If you want to come to Final Fantasy VII Rebirth with as few spoilers as possible, now might be a good time to avoid certain places on the Internet.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is one of the big titles of February, and according to users of several social networks, spoiler screenshots of its story are already appearing. As always, we can never have nice things.

According to users on Reddit, Twitter / X and TikTok (via Kotaku), “screenshots, clips and descriptions” of spoilers for Square Enix’s upcoming title are starting to appear. For now, it has not been confirmed if these details posted on social networks are real, but better to be safe than to accidentally discover some of the game’s big surprises and ruin part of the game and its story.

What can you do right now? The best thing you can do is mute keywords, from the game name, hashtags, character names, and so on. An extreme case would be to delete all apps until you get the game, but you don’t have to go that far. Simply put, if you happen to see content with these characters, such as pictures or videos, it might be best not to stick around to find out what will appear on the screen.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, one of the most anticipated games of the year

In our preview, we mentioned that “Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is surrounded by the lifestream, it is a game born of nostalgia, but limited to copying what has already been done, yet taking risks and feeling fresh, with life. The final verdict, in a few weeks. In the meantime, we are left with the good feelings.” For now, players can get their hands on the demo, which covers the first few hours of the game and has left impressive pieces on the virtual piano and reignited controversies about modern video game design.

Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will be released on February 29th next year. You can check out all the editions that will be available for this new Square Enix release here.
