We are not dreaming: Okami 2 exists with Hideki Kamiya at the helm nearly 20 years later
The Game Awards 2024 surprises with an announcement that absolutely no one could have imagined.
Okami is the game that many said was similar to The Legend of Zelda, but unfortunately, it was forgotten in 2006 and never had a sequel... Until now! Because to everyone’s surprise, Okami 2 is official and has Hideki Kamiya, director of the original title, at the helm of the project. An announcement that will make many players wake up tomorrow with a smile on their face. Of course, nothing else is known: neither platforms nor release date, so we’ll have to wait for the first details. But here is the announcement trailer.
Nintendo Switch 2, getting closer and closer
As the games of the final stretch of 2024 are released and The Game Awards presents some of those that will arrive in the coming months, no one loses sight of a Nintendo Switch 2 that is undoubtedly the most anticipated of 2025. Many predictions have been made about its launch, although the only tangible thing we have is that Nintendo plans to officially announce it before the end of the fiscal year (March 2025).
Of course, the speculation surrounding the successor to Nintendo Switch is accompanied by multiple theories - more like bets in the air - about its first games: a new Super Mario Bros, Mario Kart 9, new Animal Crossing, new Donkey Kong...
