The Paldea region is finally getting some representation in Pokémon GO, with Niantic announcing that 21 different creatures will come to the mobile game in September 2023.
Announced recently through their official blog, Niantic has revealed that players unlocked “Ultra Unlock” bonuses for their efforts during Pokémon GO Fest 2023, which will work on a new event called “A Paldean Adventure!”. This event will begin on September 5, 2023 at 10:00 AM local time, and will be available to play until September 10, 2023 at 10:00 AM local time.
Apart from this special event, fans can expect more traditional Community Day events on September 2 and September 23, although details about these are still scarce. What has been already revealed is that Charmander will be the featured Pokémon for the Community Day Classic event on September 2, but since this will take place before the start of the Paldean event, it’s possible that one of those new creatures will take the spotlight in the next one.
What Paldea Pokémon are coming to Pokémon GO?
More important than these special events though, is the actual arrival of new species of Pokémon to the popular game. In total, 21 Paldea region Pokémon are coming to Pokémon GO during the month of September. This will happen in 2 waves, with the first wave being added on September 5 at the start of the event, and then a second batch arriving on September 10.
Below you’ll find a complete list of the Pokémon arriving to the game, as well as the date they’ll become available to catch.
