When does Fallout release on Prime Video: release date for all episodes

The Fallout live-action adaptation releases very soon on Amazon’s Prime Video streaming service. Here’s all the info on the release date for all 8 episodes.

Amazon and Bethesda are getting ready to release their new upcoming live-action adaptation of Fallout, a new series that will expand on the franchise’s decades of lore and style to show us a new perspective of the nuclear wasteland fans of the games love and crave. Comprised of 8 episodes in total, the show will be made available to stream through Prime Video on April 10, 2024. But how will they handle the release schedule for its episodes?

While some shows have fully taken to the streaming characteristics of their nature, releasing the entire series at once for binging in a few hours, others have stuck to a slow drip of content by staggering their releases weekly, or in batches. There is no set rule for this, with every service changing from premiere to premiere and depending on a lot of factors that are typically not revealed to the public. However, we now know that Fallout will be one of the former, with Amazon choosing to drop all eight episodes of the show at once, on the exact same day.

When is every episode of the Fallout series releasing?

As mentioned above, every single episode of Fallout will be available to stream on Wednesday, April 10, 2024. The episodes will be released at 12am GMT, which means they’ll all be available from 6:00 pm PT/ 9:00 pm ET.

The entire series (8 episodes) will be available for fans to binge-watch the whole season on that very same day. Of course, the show is only coming to Amazon Prime Video, so you’ll need to be an active Amazon Prime member to be able to watch it.

What is Fallout about?

The official synopsis for the show reads as follows: “Based on one of the greatest video game series of all time, Fallout is the story of haves and have-nots in a world in which there’s almost nothing left to have. 200 years after the apocalypse, the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind — and are shocked to discover an incredibly complex, gleefully weird and highly violent universe waiting for them. From executive producers Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, the creators of Westworld, starring Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Walton Goggins and more.”

Executive producer of the series, Jonathan Nolan, has revealed many juicy details about the upcoming show through interviews previewing the show. From lofty claims that this is basically the next numbered Fallout entry alongside the games, to revelations as to how they approached the production regarding fan expectations, there is plenty more to read up on before the show premieres on April 10.
