Season 3 of Fortnite Chapter 4 begins at the end of this week. If you’re looking for all of the information about it, including the exact date and time in which the new season will go live, then you’re in the right place.
When does the new Fortnite season starts?
Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3, titled “Wilds” begins on Friday June 9, 2023 at 2AM ET. This date and this time is equivalent to the following :
- June 8, 11PM Pacific
- June 9, 1AM Central
- June 9, 2AM Eastern

In addition, within the Fortnite news section itself, it was also announced that Chapter 4 - Season 3 begins on June 9.
Patch 25.00 will be available at this time, an update which will add all the initial content of Season 3 of Chapter 4. What this means is that from this date and time we can download the patch, but we will still have to wait during the maintenance time of the servers. The maintenance time at the start of each season is longer than other minor patches, so we could be waiting for upwards of three or four hours.
