When is the Pokémon Presents: date, what time is it, duration, and how to watch the new Pokémon event?

Like every Pokémon Day, The Pokémon Company will host a special event to be aired on February 27th of next year. Here are all the details of the event.

The Pokémon Company announced early this morning that a Pokémon Presents event will be held on February 27th, the traditional Pokémon Day 2024, to reveal new details about the franchise. As always, no clues have been given of what will be presented in this stream, but we can only assume that future games and the presence of these Pocket Monsters in other multimedia are expected.

“Did somebody say #PokemonPresents?,” The Pokémon Company mentioned on their tweet. Tune in to our official YouTube channel at 6:00 a.m. PST on February 27th to view exciting Pokémon news in celebration of #PokemonDay 2024! See you there, Trainers!” The broadcast will be available on Pokémon’s YouTube channel, but as always, Meristation will be on hand with all the news, streaming and commentary for this nearly 28-year-old series. At the moment, no duration has been given, but in previous years the February broadcast has been between 14 to 20 minutes.

What can we expect from the new Pokémon Presents?

It’s been a long time since the last Pokémon Presents, which took place in August 2023, a few days before the 2023 Pokémon World Championships kicked off in Yokohama, Japan. While it’s unclear what we’ll see at this presentation, we can assume that it won’t be anything related to Pokémon Scarlet & Violet, which recently received its second DLC, unless there’s another surprise DLC. We’re still a long way away from The Pokémon Company showing off what will be the tenth generation of the franchise, so it wouldn’t be surprising to see a new remake arrive this year to bid farewell to the Nintendo Switch, with Black & White being the most likely candidate.
