When will the Madden NFL 24 53-man roster update be released?
The roster cut to 53 players has been made in the NFL, but when will the update reflect this in Madden NFL 24? Here are the details.
A new NFL season is just around the corner, kicking off this Thursday night. And of course, just before the start of this 2023 season, last Tuesday, August 29, NFL teams had to trim their rosters from 85 to 53 players. Of course, this is something that needs to happen to Madden NFL 24, and fans are asking when.
53-Man Roster update Release Date
Having the authenticity of what happens on the field in the video game is one of the features you expect from sports titles. Although you could do this trimming manually in Madden NFL 24, why waste time when we can wait a few more days. Sure, it’s necessary to start playing the franchise mode with details closer to reality, but we won’t have to wait that long.
Recently, through his Twitter account, Dustin Smith, head Madden ratings adjuster at EA Sports, answered to a fan about when the “53 man roster update” would arrive, commenting that it would be this Thursday.
Although the date coincides with the first game of the regular season between the Detroit Lions and the Kansas City Chiefs, there is no scheduled time when this update will arrive. Hopefully it will be before the regular season officially begins.
It should be noted that if you have already started a franchise in Madden NFL 24 and want this updated roster, you will need to restart the game as the game mode will not update retroactively once started.
Madden NFL 24 in constant update
Just last week, on September 1st, Madden NFL 24 received its Title Update 2, which introduced changes and updates to the game’s gameplay, Franchise Mode, Ultimate Team, Superstar Mode, presentation, UI, and other in-game details.
Madden NFL 24 launched on August 18th, 2023 on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC.
