Who will make the Split Fiction movie? Hollywood’s top studios want it
Story Kitchen is already working on the project.

Josef Fares' work continues to impress with a GOTY Award for It Takes Two in 2021, now with a solid new chance this year for his new game Split Fiction, and it has even escalated to the point of developing a competition to make a movie about it.
According to Variety, the announcement of the movie adaptation has sparked a fierce bidding war among top Hollywood studios. Story Kitchen, the media company behind the adaptation of It Takes Two, is leading the project.

They are currently creating a team of writers, directors, and cast members to bring this ambitious story to life. While details about the cast and release date remain under wraps, the project has already generated significant buzz at the Game Developers Conference (GDC).
Released in March 6th, Split Fiction quickly became a favourite among the industry, selling over two million copies in its first week, and gaining the praise of players and press alike. Hazelight Studios' latest game would be their second to gain interest for a movie, after Amazon claimed the rights to make one about It Takes Two in 2022.
