Will we see A Plague Tale 3? Asobo hints at a new installment

The talented studio is looking for people to join its team dedicated to the Amicia and Hugo story.

Asobo Studio has gained a good handful of fans in recent years thanks to the saga A Plague Tale, the story of two brothers persecuted by the Inquisition in France in 1348 while the Black Death ravages the population. The original title arrived in 2019, and a few years later, in 2022, received an unexpected and ambitious sequel called Requiem.

At the end of A Plague Tale: Requiem, many players thought that the story was over and that the story had come to an end, but is that really the case? Now we are forced to doubt it and evaluate every possibility, because there are some indications that A Plague Tale 3 is one of the projects that the team has on the table, according to several ads posted on LinkedIn where Asobo Studio is offering job positions.

Looking for talent... for A Plague Tale 3?

The French studio based in Bordeaux, which is also responsible for the popular Microsoft Flight Simulator, is looking to strengthen its ranks and has a good handful of vacancies. Many of them are for the flight simulator, but it has attracted attention to see 4 ads focused exclusively on expanding the so-called Plague Team, the group that created the franchise. Specifically, they are looking for special effects artists, game designers, artificial intelligence programmers, and gameplay animation creators.

Beyond such job offers, Asobo Studio has not officially commented on the hypothetical A Plague Tale 3, so there is still time, and if you are not familiar with the saga, now is the perfect time to catch up. You can enjoy A Plague Tale: Innocence on PC, PS4, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch (cloud version). As for the second installment, Requiem, it is exclusive to next-generation consoles and PC, but is also available via the cloud on Nintendo Switch.
