Xbox and Discord partner to offer a Game Pass Starter edition through Discord Nitro
Nitro subscribers will gain access to 50+ PC and console games without a price increase.
There will be a new way to subscribe to Game Pass, all thanks to Discord. As hinted at a few weeks ago, Xbox and Discord have officially announced a new partnership, under which Discord Nitro subscribers will have the opportunity to access Xbox Game Pass, albeit in a limited version.
Discord x Game Pass Is Now a Reality
This benefit was announced on the official Discord blog as part of Nitro Rewards. Subscribers will now have access to “a starter edition of Xbox Game Pass, including a library of 50+ PC and console games you can download and play anytime you want.”
These titles include Grounded, Stardew Valley, Hades, DayZ, and Cities: Skylines, as well as Dishonored 2, Fallout 4, Gears of War 5, and Doom Eternal. In addition, it is mentioned that subscribers will have access to 10 hours of cloud gaming, so you can stream games right away on more devices. It’s worth noting that the subscription price will remain the same.
