Update:
Xbox Game Pass’ second wave of January 2024 includes Palworld, the ‘Pokémon with guns’ game

After giving us an incredible list of games already for the first half of January 2024, Microsoft has gone ahead and revealed the second wave of titles coming to Xbox Game Pass. And this time around there are some games that are sure to keep you entertained for hours upon hours on end.

There are amazing racing simulators like F1 23, hundred-hour JRPG returns in the form of Persona 3 Reload, action packed indies like Go Mecha Ball and Brotato, and quirky little games like Turnip Boy Robs a Bank. But among them we’d like to highlight what could possibly be the most curious game to come to the world of video games in the past few years: Palworld

In case you haven’t seen it before, Palworld is a survival and crafting game all about capturing, befriending, and possibly enslaving cute and awesome creatures with otherworldly abilities. Yes, it’s basically “Pokémon with guns”, but even in early access, the game comes packed with dozens of hours of content, 100 “Pals” to capture, and some pretty good previews already.
