Xbox Games Showcase 2023 summary: Everything Announced

The last 12 months have not been kind to the Xbox. The battle for Activision Blizzard and promising titles that were delayed or did not turn out as expected have left fans wondering about the future of the Xbox. Today, it was time to find out what the future holds for this console, and there is much promise on the horizon.

These are all the announcements of Xbox Games Showcase 2023:

Fable

Playground kicked off the presentation with a bang. Richard Ayoade from The IT Crowd will be one of the characters. The title will be available on Xbox Game Pass from day one (as expected), although no release date was given.

South of Midnight

With a stop-motion look, we had the presentation of South of Midnight, a game that seems to take us to the South of the United States to hunt monsters.

Star Wars: Outlaws

Massive presents its Star Wars title with a cinematic trailer in which we will take the role of a smuggler. It will arrive in 2024 on Xbox X and S series and more information will be published tomorrow at Ubisoft Forward.

33 Immortals

Thunder Lotus, creators of Spiritfarer, presented their cooperative title of up to 33 players roguelike where we will face the gods. 33 Immortals coming in 2024 for Xbox X and S Series and day one for Game Pass

PayDay 3

The heists are back, and yes, the rumors were true, PayDay is coming back with a bang with its third installment. PayDay 3 arrives on September 21 and will be available on Game Pass on Day 1.

Persona 3 Reload

Well, not everything this morning was a surprise, as Atlus had already leaked it by accident. But no matter, we have more Persona! The Persona 3 remake, Persona 3 Reload will arrive early 2024,

Avowed

After a long wait, we once again have a glimpse of Obsidian Entertainment’s highly anticipated title, Avowed. Coming to Xbox in 2024

Sea of Thieves: The Legend of Monkey Island

The Legend of Monkey Island is coming to Sea of Thieves in the second major crossover for Rare’s pirate game. The story arrives on July 20

Flight Simulator 2024

Asobo presents the next generation of Flight Simulator with more aircraft functions, from rescue situations to delivery to VIP charter service or air racing or experimental flights. And well, that will come in 2024.

There will also be a ship coming on November 3 as part of a crossover with Dune.

Senua’s Saga - Hellblade II

It’s been a while and finally, we have something new from Hellblade II with a gameplay trailer that Hellblade II will arrive in 2024.

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth

With nudity comes Like a Dragon 8 Infinite Wealth, which will arrive in early 2024 for Xbox and Windows.

Fallout 76: Atlantic City

Bethesda showed off a new expansion for its Fallout MMORPG that takes us to Atlantic City. Now available with Xbox Game Pass

Kunitsu-Gami:Path of the Goddess

Capcom presented Path a the Goddess, a title that can simply be described as a very Japanese folklore title. The title will be coming to the Xbox X and S series and will be Day 1 on Game Pass.

Forza Motorsport

Forza Motorsport and General Motors announce a partnership to bring the company’s cars to the next installment of the franchise. Forza Motorsport will be available on October 10, 2023. Available on Xbox Game Pass on Day 1

The Elder Scrolls Online: Journey to Necrom

A new expansion for The Elder Scrolls MMORPG has been announced. It will be released on June 20.

Overwatch 2: Invasion

A new adventure awaits Overwatch heroes this August with the Flashpoint story mode and other new cooperative and solo modes. It will be available on August 10th. New heroes will be unlockable

Persona 5 Tactica

As the earlier Persona title showed today, a new Persona 5 spin-off, Persona 5 Tactica, have been officially announced. Noviembre 17 de 2023 y día uno en Game Pass.

Starfield

Prior to its presentation after the show, we had a new cinematic trailer of Starfield. It shows a little more of the game’s story. Starfield will be released on September 6th.

Jusant

A new exploration and adventure title where climbing will be an important part of the gameplay.

Still Wakes the Deep

A horror game set on an offshore platform, of which not much has been shown. It will be released in June 2024.

Dungeons of Hinterberg

Another adventure game to be released by 2024.

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty

Keanu Reeves unveiled the trailer for Cyberpunk 2077′s expansion, Phantom Liberty, starring Idris Elba. Do we need anything else? Yes, the date. Phantom Liberty will be released on September 26th.

Cities Skylines II

With an emotional trailer, Paradox shows more details of Cities Skylines II with details about its gameplay. Cities Skylines II will launch on October 24th and will be available on Game Pass.

Metaphor De Fantazio

Atlus goes all out and presents its third title of the day, Metaphor by Fantazio, which will arrive in 2024.

TowerBorne

From the creators of Banner Saga comes a new cooperative adventure title that promises a changing world. It will arrive in 2024.

Clockwork Revolution

InXile Entertainment presents this special steampunk title where rebellion is the key to this presentation.

Xbox Series S new color

With a 1TB hard drive, Xbox unveiled the Xbox Series S in Carbon Black, priced at $349. It will be available from September 1.
