Bad news for those enjoying the many item duplication techniques that had been found in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom: the latest update of the game will not let you do that anymore.

Released just this morning, patch 1.1.2 of the game has managed to remove all known methods of duplicating items in the latest version, which means that both the paraglider method where you would enter a flying state and hold items to drop at the same time, and the popular and easy to do arrow glitch, are no longer possible whatsoever.

If you were one of the many players who had been enjoying the game this way to make your journeys a little bit easier, then we’re afraid you might want to hold off on updating the game until other methods are discovered by players. However, Nintendo wrote in the official patch notes that “several issues have been addressed to improve the gameplay experience.” Some of these issues include problems like sound playing “at an extremely high volume in certain conditions”, as well as other bugs that halted quest progression in critical missions for the game.
