Netflix's Love, Death & Robots confirms its third season release date

Netflix has distributed a teaser trailer that does not show any images of the new episodes, but we won't have to wait long for this anthology series.

Update:
Netflix's Love, Death & Robots confirms its third season release date

Love, Death & Robots Volume 3 is a reality. Netflix's animated anthology series had previously confirmed that the third season would premiere sometime in 2022, but until now no specific date had been confirmed. The official Twitter account of the series has reported that it will arrive soon, next May 20.

Very few confirmed details

Official data are very sparse, beyond the fact that one of the stories will serve as a sequel to one of the episodes of Volume 1, The Three Robots. While the first season is composed of 18 stories, the second season was drastically reduced to only 8 episodes. As for this new batch of stories, Netflix has not revealed the number of chapters we will be able to enjoy.

The announcement has been accompanied by a teaser trailer, which unfortunately does not show any sequence of Volume 3. As you can see above these lines, it reviews some of the most successful series of the platform to then interspersed with scenes from previous seasons of Love, Death & Robots.

Full screen

The premise of Love, Death & Robots is to showcase a collection of stories by different artists, who put their cinematographic skills to the test to provide the viewer with a powerful animated product. To this day, the names that will sign each of the episodes of this third season have not been revealed, but its debut is about a month away, so the first details should not take too long.

Another of the most anticipated Netflix series is Stranger Things 4, which will debut on the platform in two separate volumes: the first batch of episodes will debut on the platform just a few days after the animated series does, on May 27; the second is scheduled for July 1.
