PlayStation reveals the highlights of the new PS Plus: Demon’s Souls Remake, Ghost of Tsushima, Assassin's Creed Valhalla…
We review all the great games of the new PS Plus Premium and PS Plus Extra: Returnal, Red Dead 2, Guardians of the Galaxy, Spider-Man: Miles Morales...
The new PlayStation Plus is here. Or well, almost. Sony's subscription service will change over the next month in different regions of the world. In the United States, it will be next June 13, 2022, and will be divided into three different categories:
PS Plus Essential will maintain the same features as the current PlayStation Plus (online multiplayer, two downloadable games per month, discounts, etc.), but the new Premium and Extra versions will be accompanied by a catalog of games that will put PS4 and PS5 to compete head to head with Xbox Game Pass. And although Sony exclusives will not be from launch day on the service, PS Plus Premium offers us a library of 409 top-level games, to which PS Plus Extra adds 340 more, these already classics of past consoles and generations.
Here we leave you with the first big names of PS Plus Premium and Extra. A list in which stand out PS5 games like Demon's Souls Remake, Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Returnal, or names from the recent past that we had not yet seen by any similar service. These are the cases of the director's cut (a kind of GOTY edition) of Death Stranding and Ghost of Tsushima, or the Nathan Drake Collection of Uncharted. They will be joined by great third-party games like Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Red Dead Redemption 2, NBA 2K22 or Guardians of the Galaxy. A good initial push that will be updated and evolving month by month.
