Update:
The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power makes an impact in its magical trailer

Middle-earth comes to life in the new trailer for The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, Amazon Studios' new original series for Amazon Prime Video. The platform has shared a stunning new trailer, which shows the world created by J.R.R. Tolkien in all its splendor. Characters, locations and all the magic of the British writer's work flood the screen in full.

The official Prime Video account has published a brief sneak peek, which you can see below these lines. This one invites users with a Prime subscription to watch an exclusive 60-second sneak peek -which you can see in this link- where the different races of Middle-earth are shown, ending with an important notice, a new trailer will arrive on July 14.

In a recent spot, we could see hints that the Ents were going to make an appearance in the first season of the series. Now it has been officially confirmed, as they can be seen in one of the sequences. These talking trees are intelligent beings that have lived since time immemorial in Middle-earth.

Orcs and female orcs, a first glimpse of these creatures

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power will bring back another of the classic creatures from J.R.R. Tolkien's universe. The orcs, however, are different from the ones that appeared in The Lord of the Rings film trilogy. The reason is that during the First Age they were almost exterminated, so the survivors hid in caves and hardly saw the daylight.

The creators of the series have also confirmed that there will be killer whales. "There's some female Orcs that I truly loved," said executive producer Lindsey Weber in an exclusive interview with IGN. "But there's one Orc in particular, who's very, very tall and strong, who has a particularly enjoyable fight with one of our Elven characters that I suspect will be, or hope will be a favorite among fans."

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power will premiere on September 2 on Prime Video.
