Overwatch 2: minimum and recommended requirements to play on PC

Yesterday we said goodbye to the original game -their servers have already closed-, and today we welcome Overwatch 2, which we will be able to start playing starting at 2:00 PM ET. The game will be totally free since this sequel to Activision Blizzard's title will move to the free-to-play format and there will be micropayments solely for cosmetic elements. The game comes to virtually all current platforms, but if our choice is the PC, the first thing is to find out its requirements to see if our computer can handle it.

That being said, these are the minimum requirements for the PC version of Overwatch 2:

  • Operating system: Windows 10 64-bit
  • Processor: Intel Core i3 or AMD Phenom X3 8650
  • RAM: 6 GB RAM
  • Storage: 50 GB of free space available
  • Graphics card: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 600 Series, AMD Radeon HD 7000 Series

What's new in Season 1

It is worth remembering that the classic heroes will be blocked for those who did not play the original, and it will be necessary to play at least 100 matches to be able to have all of them. But one of the new heroes will be the main character at the beginning of the game, which starts today. It is Kiriko, a support hero, and with which we will enjoy a great agility and even a teleportation ability.

As usual, the first season will also include the first battle pass, of two types: a premium one -paid- with 80 levels and up to 15% bonus to the experience obtained, and immediate access to Kiriko. On the other hand, the free pass will have 20 rewards, and it will be necessary to reach level 55 to unlock Kiriko.
