Fortnite patch 22.40 arrived on Tuesday, November 15, 2022. It is the fifth and final content update for Fortnite Season 4. Just below we tell you what the most important changes are and new features brought by this Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 4 patch, such as new outfits and new Quests:
New Rocket League event in Fortnite
One of the most important changes in Fortnite patch 22.40 is the addition of the Rocket League Octane to the Battle Royale modes. In addition, there will be Quests with which to earn free Rocket League items such as a skateboard-looking backpack and a pickaxe.

The new Fortnite Season 4 Chapter 3 map after patch 22.40 is as follows. The most important change is that now Tilted Towers is Tainted Towers.

New weapons and items in Fortnite patch 22.40
Fortnite patch 22.40 has brought with it the following changes to weapons and items. The Rocket League Octane has been added to the selection of vehicles available on the island, and the Grapple Glider, a suction cup gun that allows us to deploy the hang glider, has also been added.
Fortnite's new game mode: Big Battle
Fortnite patch 22.40 has brought with it the new Grand Battle game mode, in which two teams of forty players each fight against each other. It is a Zero Build mode, and is available from 10 AM ET on November 15.

Epic Games announces that the Battle Lab game mode will be retired indefinitely with the arrival of patch 23.00, which will mark the start of Fortnite Season 1 Chapter 4.

Here's what's planned to be fixed or changed in Fortnite with patch 22.40:
Fortnite general changes and fixes.
- An unknown bug causes players to be kicked out of Battle Lab games if they enter the water. This is expected to be fixed with this patch.
- An unknown issue causes outfits from previous Battle Passes to be displayed with incorrect colors when equipped. This is expected to be fixed with this patch.
Creative Mode changes and adjustments
- An unforeseen issue causes devices that move objects to not work properly between rounds. This will be fixed with this patch.
