The DMZ Mode in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 hides many secrets. We tell you how to get the coveted keys to access the strongholds.
The new DMZ Mode of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has more players daily. It consists of deploying on the Warzone 2.0 map to explore, complete missions, and obtain rewards of all kinds. And for this, clearing strongholds is the best thing you can do, although for this you need to have stronghold keys in your inventory. We tell you the best tips to get them.
How to get stronghold keys in DMZ
There are several strongholds on the DMZ Mode map and completing them is one of the main objectives to get the best rewards. The problem is that all of them are locked and you need stronghold keys to be able to access them. But don't worry, as you won't have too much trouble getting your hands on any of them.
Our advice is that before searching blindly, go to a buy station, as there are times when it appears as an object that you can buy for only $5,000, an amount that you can easily collect if you find some valuables to sell in that store (it is also interesting to rummage in cash registers, as there are many in any store or bank and inside there is always some money).
If this is not the case, you will have to look for it; it all depends on your luck with enemy drops. Look for groups of CPU soldiers, especially the more powerful ones with body armor and those that deploy from rival helicopters. One may drop a stronghold key after defeating him. Of course, another option is to defeat other players you encounter during the game, as they have the same objective as you and may have already found a key.
What are the stronghold keys used for?
As the name suggests, you can open the strongholds on the map with them. Inside them, there are strong enemies and all kinds of valuable objects such as encrypted hard drives, and documents. In addition, they also usually house legendary chests (orange) in which you will find the best possible equipment. Finally, in DMZ Mode there are missions that you can select before the game, and some of them propose you complete enemy strongholds and get huge amounts of experience.
